Project time frame: 2017-2018 years.
For regional mapping of the geology of this entire region we will acquire long offset reflection & refraction seismic, gravity and magnetic data.
Total volume of the project — 30,213 lkm.
Seismic lines layout integrating together: all major structures, wells, potential fields anomalies and vintage geological and geophysical data.
Reflection seismic acquisition parameters will be:

Expand seismic footprint beyond length constraints (offsets up to 150 km)

The regional survey line grid in the Southeastern Asian basins will make it possible to understand the real structure of tectonic blocks as well as their boundaries and interrelationships. The deep depth of investigation of the planned survey lines will ensure true understanding of position and geometry of the continent-ocean boundaries. It will help to understand stages and phases of rifting in regions with limited or hyper-extension, determine limits of inverse structures mainly associated with the India-Asia collision.
The objectives of this Program are as follows:
Geological setting describing the main geological elements, tectonic regime and basin evolution.
Sequence stratigraphy and architecture of Tertiary carbonate systems.
The general depositional controls of Tertiary carbonate systems in SE Asia including a classification of carbonate buildups and depositional systems.
Stratigraphy with the depositional environments of the main stratigraphic units.
The project area covers the Southeast Asia Sea in the economic zones of 10 countries.
GWL invites participation in the Southeast Asia Sea project.
Deliverables will include PSTM and PSDM SEG-Y and interpretation products.
